Terrance F. Henderson, JD, MBA Vice President and Council of Comerica Bank, Joins ACI Board of Directors

Terrance Henderson is Vice President and Counsel of Comerica Bank's Texas Division. Comerica Bank, a Fortune 500 publicly traded, financial services company headquartered in Detroit, focuses on business lending and asset gathering. It is the 17th largest bank holding company in the U.S. with $51 billion in assets and more than 12,000 employees focused on relationship management. Mr. Henderson handles a myriad of transactional matters for all of Comerica's business units in the Texas region, including commercial lending, contracts, trust, real estate, and general business matters.

Prior to joining Comerica in June 1999, Mr. Henderson was an associate with Jackson Walker, where he specialized in business transactions and commercial finance law. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Henderson was an associate in the home office of the New Orleans-based law firm of Adams & Reese. Prior to commencing his legal career, Mr. Henderson was a credit analyst with Bank of America (then NCNB), a commercial lending officer with North Park National Bank in Dallas, Texas, and a field radio operator in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.

Mr. Henderson is a member of the 2002 class of Leadership Dallas and a former board member of UJAMAA Community Development Corporation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Henderson was an adjunct professor in the University of Dallas' MBA program and has taught online financial analysis, banking, law and accounting courses for the American Banking Association's American Institute of Banking. In addition, he has provided professional services to the Center for Non-Profit Management's Loan Fund in Dallas, Texas, on a volunteer basis and currently teaches a quarterly seminar entitled "Contracts, Writing and Negotiating" for the Small Business Development Center at the University of Houston.

Mr. Henderson obtained a Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School in 1995, an MBA from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans in 1988. He is the recipient of the 1990 Beta Gamma Sigma Mary S. Faulk Award from Tulane University and received a Meritorious Mass for Service Above and Beyond the Call of Duty while in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. Mr. Henderson is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and he and his wife now make their home in Arlington, Texas.

ACI awarded Women Owned Business Designation

ACI has been awarded the designation of 'Women Business Enterprise' (WBE) for consulting services from the City of Houston and the state of Texas. The WBE designation is useful for cooperative agreements and subcontracting with larger consulting and management firms within the United States. ACI continues to seek partnerships and sub-contracting with other businesses of all sizes.

ACI joins the Global Health Council

ACI has joined the Global health Council as a organization member as of May 2004. ACI staff attended The Global Health Council 31st Annual Conference with health professionals and activists from 85 countries came together for its yearly meeting in Washington, DC with a focus on Youth & Health, from 1-4 June 2004.
